Laurel Davis Crafted: New Annual 2021-22 Catalog

Hooray! We have a spanking new Annual Stampin' Up!® Catalog and it is GORGEOUS!

With the wonderfully warmer and sunnier spring weather that started in Ontario, Canada this week, for this May 2021 Blog Hop I am showcasing the amazing Beauty of Friendship Bundle and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP) on pages 10-11 in the new catalog. I am using a Z-Angled Fold as it gives me an opportunity to show the many beautiful DSPs and a few of the stamps and dies.

Measurements to create this beautiful card are below.

Card base Mossy Meadow card stock 8 1/2" x 11", cut and score using the guide below courtesy of: http://lavenderthoughts.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/trifold-angle-card-tutorial/ This will give you 2 card bases.
Cut the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper 3 1/4" x 5", line the pieces up for each panel and then flip and use the angle on the other side with the Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer to guide the angle you make. Use as many different DSPs as you like!
I used Basic White card stock for the sentiments

on the front - use the narrow rectangular die from the Beauty of Friendship dies stamped with Jet Black Stazon
on the inside - the stitched rectangular die - 4th largest size

The matting for the sentiment on the from is Bumble Bee cardstock - using the same narrow rectangular die but extending on one end. I used mini dimensionals to raise the sentiment on the front.
The birds are part of the Beauty of Friendship dies and were cut out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock for that deep rich red colour. I used mini dimensionals for the birds.
The Beauty of Friendship dies have amazing tree dies both for foliage as well as for the tree trunk and branches. The wood grain DSP was ideal for the tree trunk and branches.
This stamp bundle also makes tree stamping fun as seen on the inside of the card. So much depth and texture using just Mossy Meadow ink.
