Laurel Davis Crafted: Christmas Merriest Moments Blog Hop!

Welcome to November's Christmas themed blog hop! I am so excited for the upcoming holiday season. It seems 2021 has been an extra long year and Christmas provides an extended time for fun!

For this blog hop I am showcasing Stampin' Up!® Merriest Moments Bundle. It is a wonderful product that includes a stamp set, dies and a coordinating embossing folder that works with the dies.

The Gold Foil Sheets forms the perfect backdrop against the Very Vanilla detailed embossed piece. I stamped the flowers in Cherry Cobbler and the leaves were stamped using a number of coordinating green colours - Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz and Mint Macaron. I used dimensionals to attach the flowers and leaves on the top left corner of the card and glue dots for the leaves under the sentiment.

I used gold heat embossing for the sentiment at the front of the card. The beautiful Cherry Cobbler and Gold Metallic ribbon attached with a glue dot is just the right bling to complete the look of this card. Frankly, the Stampin' Up! products do much of the work for us. This is such a versatile product with so many stamps and dies to make amazing cards.

The inside of the card was stamped with the poinsettia flower in Cherry Cobbler with Bumble Bee in the middle and Old Olive for the leaves stamped using a mask for the flower.

Very Vanilla Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" for the card base
Very Vanilla Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" embossed and die cut with the detailed die
Gold Foil Sheets - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" embossed and die cut with the outline die
Very Vanilla Cardstock - for inner stitched rectangle to stamp the sentiment
Basic White - 5 3/8 " x 4 1/8" for inside the card
Very Vanilla Cardstock for flower and leaves stamped Images
