Hello Fellow Crafters!
Welcome to December's blog hop! The theme for this blog hop is "Thanks" and my project gives a sneak peek into the January to June 2022 Stampin' Up! ® catalog featuring the Honeybee Home Bundle. The new catalog goes live on January 4, 2022 along with the January to February Sale-A-Bration.
At this time of the year when we are looking forward to the holidays but very aware of the upcoming new year, there is cause for pause. Pause to be thankful for so many of the great things in our lives, not least of which is our health!
So this is a simple card with a basic layout. I used the Designer Series Paper (DSP) Heart & Home for the main body of the card. They are all stunning prints with wood grain on the reverse side.
The sprigs were stamped on basic white thick cardstock and coloured with the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends. The other was stamped on Pale Papaya cardstock. The dies were used to cut them out and I arranged and adhered them with glue dots to the back of the sentiment.
The bling is also from the upcoming catalog - the Brushed Brass Butterflies. So beautiful!
Below are the measurements to make this beautiful card.
- Garden Green Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" for the card base
- Heart & Home DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
- Contrasting DSP (I used the reverse side of the DSP) - 4" x 1 1/4"
- Garden Green Cardstock 4" x 1 1/2" - matting for the contrasting DSP
- Basic White for the sentiment
- Gold Foil for the sentiment matting
That paper is gorgeous, your card turned out lovely.
