Playing With Pansy Patch!

My recent project features the Pansy Petals Suite Collection, provides lots of opportunity to make beautiful paper crafts. This suite caters to the simple stamper as well as the avid stamper. The gorgeous designer series paper (DSP) is the perfect blend of all five in colours and lots of opportunity to mix and match.

This project features three step pansy stamping as well as the use of dies to create various colours and design for a lovely pansy patch!

Measurements to create this beautiful card are below.
  • Card base Soft Succulent cardstock 4 1/4" x 11", score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
  • Matte for easel - Soft Succulent cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Evening Evergreen 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and use the largest Scalloped Contours Dies for matte on the Soft Succulent 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" matte for easel
  • Pansy Petals DSP cut at 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and glue to the Evening Evergreen
  • Basic White cardstock cut out using the Painted Labels as base to attach the large pansies and pansy bud with leaves - place on DSP
  • Use Rich Razzleberry cardstock adhered to adhesive sheets to cut the edges for the pansy
  • Sentiment strip - Basic white cardstock cut using the smallest die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies
  • Matte for sentiment strip - Evening Evergreen cut using the 2nd smallest Stitched So Sweetly die
  • Use Basic white cardstock to cut large pansies from dies
  • Use Basic white cardstock to do three step stamping for large pansy on the front of the card and two step stamping for small inside pansy (Flirty Flamingo and Pale Papaya)
  • Inside the card - Basic White  5 3/8" x 4 1/8" - use the smaller pansy and leaf as the stopper for the easel
  • For leaves - Evening Evergreen cardstock for the detailed part of the leaf and Soft succulent for the main part of the leaf.

I sponged the pansy pieces cut from the Basic White cardstock using sponge daubers with Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' pad. The adhere Rich Razzleberry pansy edges.

Glue the bottom of the decorated Soft Succulent 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" with pansies and sentiment to the card base on the scored 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" section.

I hope this post inspires you to play with the Pansy Petals Suite Collection and / or make a similar card.
