Laurel Davis Crafted: It's Sale-A-Bration Time!

It is so exciting to think about Christmas during the summer. That's why my card is a Christmas card featuring the beautiful Peaceful Prints Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) (see below) from the August to September 2021 Sale-A-Bration! I also used the dies and stamps from the Words of Cheer bundle and used the Deer Builder Punch from the Peaceful Deer bundle.

Peaceful Prints Specialty Designer Series Paper

Below are the measurements for this double easel card.

Early Espresso Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5 1/2″
Cherry Cobbler – 4″ x 10 1/4″, scored at 2 1/2″ and at 5″
Gold Foil Sheet – 2 1/4" x 3 3/4"
DSP from Peaceful Prints – 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 2″ x 3 1/2″
Basic White - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" (for inside)

I stamped the DSP with the tree stamps from the Peaceful Deer stamp set on the DSP to give a forest effect for the leaping deer. I punched the deer from the DSP. To get the reverse image I used Amy Koenders advice of punching a folded vellum to map where the reverse image would be and punch the deer from the reverse side. The deer were adhered with dimensionals.

The Happy Dies were cut from the Gold foil sheets and Cherry Cobbler cardstock and adhered with dimensionals.

I used the holly leaves stamp and sentiment from the Words of Cheer stamp set on the inside of the card.
