Hello Fellow Crafters!
Welcome to the April 2022 blog hop! The theme for this blog hop is "Last Chance" as in last chance to secure the wonderful products that will be retiring from Stampin' Up!® 2021-22 annual catalog! There are still some amazing stamp sets and bundles that you can buy.
For this blog, I am featuring the Prized Peony stamp set and the Peony Dies. The stamp set by itself is amazing, but add the dies and the set is phenomenal. You can create a 3D peony image with just four nestled pieces.
I also used the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Papers - it is the LAST CHANCE for these papers too. Don't miss out. This beautiful party pack features all kinds of wonderful colours and patterns on one side and black and white patterns on the other side.
Below are the measurements to make this beautiful card.
- Basic Black - 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" scored at 3" for the card base
- Use the border die from the Peony die on the front of the card (3" from the crease)
- Basic White Cardstock - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4"
- Black and White Striped Pattern Party Paper 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" for the front of the card, leaving about 1/2" for the scalloped border
- Black and White Pattern Polka Dot Party Paper 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" for the outer edge of the inside of the card
- Basic White for the Peony parts and sentiments
- For the peony parts, use a sponge dauber to sponge Magenta Madness ink on the edges of the flower parts before assembling
- Basic Black for the peony stigma
- Pear Pizzazz for leaves and Mossy Meadow for leaf outline
