Laurel Davis Crafted: Diamond Flip Fun Fold Masculine Card Blog Hop

Welcome to the June 2022 blog hop! The theme for this blog hop is "Masculine Cards" - you know - in time for Father's Day on June 19th!

This past weekend my husband took me to a car show in Guelph, Ontario - all varieties of cool cars, like the DeLorean of Back to the Future fame, Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Jaguars... the works! It is no surprise therefore that his Father's Day card should have a car theme!

This blog features a diamond flip fun fold (I CASEd from Lisa Cursio) using the "He's All That" bundle and "He's The Man" Designer Series Paper.

This bundle and DSP made my car themed project very straightforward with the DSP matching the coordinating die-cut images for the right message.

Using these products makes creating masculine cards... well - a no brainer really! It has everything you could possibly need to deliver the right message to the significant men in your life!

The themes in the DSP is for the outdoors, grilling, and cars enthusiasts as well as the well dressed! The DSP also features coordinating die-cut images to match for any occasion.

Below are the measurements to make this card.

Early Espresso (base) - 4 1/4" x 11", score at 2 1/8” x 5 1/2"

Template for cutting the base is below:

Front - Basic White (diamond shape with image and sentiment) - 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Front - DSP - 3 1/4" x 4 1/8" (left of the diamond)
Inside - DSP - Left side of the inside - 3 1/4" x 4 1/8" (right of the diamond)
Inside Right - DSP - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Inside Right Diamond - 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
